When you look back on your life you are not presented with a clear vision, but rather a blurred interpretation of your memories, dreams, feelings and experiences. This ongoing series of 35mm film double exposures is an attempt to capture this experiece of memory on film. Each roll of film is shot in one part of the world, and double exposed in another. When developed these dreamscapes tell the story of my travels, and my life from a blurred and skewed all encompassing hindsight. Just as your dreams are juxtapositions of themes and concepts from your experience of life, these landscapes are juxtapositions of the different cultures, concepts and feelings of my life, my memories, and my travels, they are documents of my dreams on film.
Landscape of a Dream was recently exhibited at Woodwork in Brooklyn, New York, Dec 2011 - Feb 2012
